Privacy Policy

Time to Tug for Apple Watch and iPhone · Last updated 24 August 2026

Time to Tug does not collect your data. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, and no third‑party services of any kind. Nothing you record in this app is transmitted to us, because there is no server of ours for it to reach.

What the app stores

The app stores the sessions you log: a date and time, a duration in seconds, and an optional note you type yourself. It also stores your preferences — reminder hours, session length, and snooze settings.

That information is kept on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud database. Apple provides that storage. We have no access to it, no credentials for it, and no way to read it.

What the app does not do

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your watch. They are never sent through a push server, so no notification content leaves your device.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, sessions sync between your Apple Watch and your iPhone through Apple's CloudKit service, using the private database tied to your Apple Account. This sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. If you are not signed in to iCloud, the app tells you so on screen and keeps everything on the device only.

Deleting your data

Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf and no request you need to send us.

Children

Time to Tug is not directed at children and is not intended for use by them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on the App Store.
